Who we are

Crenya is a family of software products — CodeTune, Crenya Design, Crenya Office, Crenya ERP and Crenya POS — operated by Crenya Technologies LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers crenya.com and our product subdomains (for example app.crenya.com, billing.crenya.com and license.crenya.com).

It also covers our mobile apps, including Crenya Housekeeper and Crenya HMS on iOS and Android, and our ERP and restaurant POS apps. Where a specific app publishes its own privacy notice, that notice sits alongside this policy; if they ever conflict, the app-specific notice governs that app.

Information we collect

You give us — your name and contact details (email, phone, address), your organisation and role, billing details such as GSTIN and billing address, and anything you send us in messages or support requests. Payments are processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers.

We collect automatically — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and actions taken, and cookies or similar technologies. When you use a Crenya product, we also process the business data you enter into it (for example invoices, inventory or menu items) strictly to provide that product to you.

How we use your information

To provide and operate the products, create and manage your account, process subscriptions and payments, issue receipts and invoices, respond to your enquiries, keep our services secure and reliable, improve what we build, and meet legal and tax obligations. We only send marketing messages where permitted, and you can opt out at any time.

Cookies & similar technologies

We use essential cookies to sign you in and keep sessions secure, and a small number of analytics cookies to understand how our sites are used so we can improve them. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may stop parts of the service from working.

How we share information

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us run Crenya — cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), payment processors (Razorpay for India; Lemon Squeezy / equivalent for international payments), and email delivery — under agreements that require them to protect your data.
• Authorities when required by law, regulation or valid legal process.
• A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation, with notice to you.

Where your data is stored

Crenya is hosted on Amazon Web Services in the Mumbai (India) region. We apply technical and organisational safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege operations — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the services, then for the period required to meet legal, accounting and tax obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, request a copy in a portable form, and withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To exercise any of these, email us at info@crenya.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Where a Crenya product is provided to you by your employer or another organisation, please direct data requests to them; we act on their instructions for that data.

International users

Crenya serves customers in India, the Gulf (GCC) and elsewhere. If you use Crenya from outside India, you understand that your information is processed and stored in India under this policy and applicable law.

Children's privacy

Crenya is built for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

Our sites and products may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. This policy does not cover them; please review their own privacy notices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date below and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of Crenya after an update means you accept the revised policy.
